Our client a global entertainment company, is looking to hire an

Ad Sales Research Analyst

to join their team in either their

New York City

office,

Chicago, IL , or

Los Angeles, CA

offices. This is an initial

9-month long contract fully onsite

position.
As their

Ad Sales Research Analyst

you will be transforming data into stories that power our advertising strategy. The ideal candidate blends analytical rigor with creative storytelling, bringing insights to life for our partners and helping elevate our brand’s reach and resonance.

Chicago, IL - New York City - Los Angeles, CA ( dependent on where you are located)
Pay Rate:

45-50 /hr. on a W2
Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis:

Process, analyze, and interpret large datasets on audience behavior, media ratings, and market trends.
Client Reporting:

Build polished reports, dashboards, and presentations (Excel, PowerPoint) that make complex findings actionable and easy to understand.
Performance Optimization:

Measure campaign reach, frequency, and impact to optimize media and sales strategies.
Systems Expertise:

Use Nielsen’s proprietary tools (e.g., Nielsen ONE, Media Impact Planning, Ad Intel) and other analytics platforms to support audience insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with internal sales, marketing, and content teams to deliver insights that support revenue growth and client success.

Audience Measurement:

Understand what audiences watch, listen to, and engage with across platforms.
Advertising Insights:

Evaluate ad effectiveness across linear, digital, and streaming channels.
Market Trends : Monitor evolving media consumption habits and advertiser opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 2 years in a data, media, or marketing analytics role, ideally within a media or publisher environment.
Technical Skills: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency; familiarity with Nielsen tools required. Must have experience with Nielsen nPower and Ad Intel. Experience with ComScore, MRI, Video Amp and iSpot is also desired, but not required.
Analytical Strength: Proven ability to interpret data, identify trends, and distill findings into strategic recommendations.
Storytelling Mindset: Ability to craft narratives that connect insights to actionable business outcomes.
