Front End Geospatial Developer (VueJS)

Job Description Job Description Closure Tech is seeking a

Lead UI Developer

to support a mission-critical geospatial program in Chantilly, VA. The developer will be the sole UI engineer on the team, requiring someone with a strong sense of ownership over the code base.
Required Qualifications

TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
Strong experience with

Vue.js

in production environments
Proficiency in

TypeScript , modern JavaScript, and component-based UI architecture
Experience with

Vuetify

or similar UI frameworks
Hands-on experience with geospatial or mapping libraries such as:

OpenLayers
Turf.js
GeoLib
Geodesy

Ability to work

independently

as the sole frontend developer on a team

Desired Qualifications
Experience with other frameworks such as

React

or

Angular

and ability to quickly ramp in Vue
Familiarity with:

Playwright

or other end-to-end testing frameworks
CI/CD pipelines

and automated deployment workflows

Experience building high-performance, data-heavy user interfaces
