Personal Lines Client Account Manager

Overview The Personal Lines Account Manager is responsible for managing the entire account‑service process, including marketing clients to various carriers, responding to client inquiries regarding coverage and eligibility, ensuring the accuracy of policies, endorsements, EOIs, and audits, and maintaining organized and accurate account files. The position is based in San Antonio and offers a hybrid schedule (three days in office, two days remote) after onboarding.
Responsibilities Managing a book of personal lines insurance business focused on mid‑market accounts.
Preparing annual review reports and conducting client meetings to review the insurance program and making appropriate recommendations for improvements.
Working closely with a sales producer and other team members on all aspects of client service, marketing, and renewals while adhering to HUB’s best practices and standard procedures.
Acting as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers, resolving service issues, negotiating with underwriters, and troubleshooting claims and billing issues.
Understanding clients’ insurance objectives and performing critical analysis to compare insurance plans for suitability.
Helping develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads, and exploring cross‑selling opportunities when appropriate.
Qualifications High School Diploma or GED; college degree strongly preferred.
Few years of experience in an insurance account management or client service associate role (brokerage experience preferred) or a strong interest in insurance derived from a customer‑service role.
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels within the organization.
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and AMS (Epic preferred).
Must have, or be willing to obtain, a Property & Casualty license.
