Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated SEO Specialist to support foundational SEO execution across multiple brands and digital properties. This role will focus on on-page optimization, local page management, technical SEO hygiene, structured data implementation, and platform support within BrightEdge. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly organized, and comfortable executing clearly defined SEO best practices while collaborating across sales, marketing and technical teams.

Responsibilities include:
Local Pages

uthor, publish, and maintain local landing pages following established SEO and content guidelines
Optimize existing local pages to improve rankings, engagement, and conversion performance
Ensure consistency and accuracy of location-based content and internal linking
Schem

Implement approved schema markup across applicable page types
Validate schema implementation and troubleshoot errors as needed
Metadat

Implement crawl fixes as needed, including but not limited to:

Title tags and meta description updates
Identification and remediation of broken internal links
Support resolution of 404 errors and redirect logic
Image alt text updates to support accessibility and SEO

Video Optimization

Research video optimization tactics
Work with comms/social to optimize existing videos on YouTube channel
BrightEdge

Help conduct platform clean-up + ongoing expansion of reporting for client's website

Keywords
Keyword Groups
Competitors Etc.

Help support proper platform setup and ongoing expansion of reporting for specialty services (Stericycle and Shred-it)

Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or a related field (internships welcome)
Basic understanding of on-page SEO, metadata, and search engine fundamentals
Familiarity with SEO tools (BrightEdge, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or similar) is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented processes
Comfortable working across multiple brands and prioritizing tasks
Clear written communication skills and willingness to collaborate cross-functionally

Nice to Have

Exposure to schema/structured dat
Experience working with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Adobe, Sitecore, Sanity)
Interest in local and enterprise SEO
