Summary:The Director of Sales, Walmart is responsible for leading the company’s Walmart business by setting customer strategy, driving profitable growth, and building strong cross-functional alignment across sales and supply chain operations. This role manages and develops account managers, strengthens executive and day-to-day customer relationships, and ensures sales plans are translated into effective forecasting, replenishment, and service execution. The Director serves as a key leader in delivering joint business planning, identifying growth opportunities, improving in-stock performance, and aligning internal teams across Marketing, Finance, Demand Planning, Sourcing, and Operations to meet customer expectations and company objectives. Success in this role requires strong strategic leadership, deep customer management expertise, and the ability to connect commercial priorities with operational execution.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Develop major account sales strategies with sales team members identifying opportunities and sales objectivesInteract with key decision makers to execute our sales plan employing Nice Pak’s strategic selling conceptsPrepare proposals, presentations and pricingManage and grow a portfolio of existing businessReview and analyze sales performances against programs, quote and plan to determine effectivenessDrive profitable growth by increasing market share and delivering targeted profit and loss performance in line with company goals, industry benchmarks, and economic trendsprepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client Walmart expansionMeet regularly with Walmart sourcing teams and appropriate merchants to strengthen relationships, align on business priorities, support negotiations, and advance growth opportunities while assisting account managers with key customer interactions and executionRepresent the company at trade association meetings to promote productEstablish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partnersDevelop, manage the sales budget. Analyze, and control expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirementsHire, manage, coach, and develop sales and supply chain team members to build organizational capability, strengthen cross-functional execution, and support achievement of customer and company objectivesStrong understanding of Walmart POS data and syndicated data, with the ability to translate insights into actionable sales, assortment, pricing, and replenishment strategiesEducation Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent experienceExperience Requirements:Ten (10) plus years’ experience as a salesperson in a buyer/sales relationship and extensive sales experienceFive (5) plus years leading a sales team, preferred experience in Private Label Personal Care Products & Health and Beauty CareCompetencies:Extensive knowledge of the consumer products industry, national brand/private label industry, and/or the health and beauty care industryDemonstrated team playerBroad business background to include product forecasting and understand customer margin/profitability dataExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPrevious management role with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targetsAbility to create and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective clientsDemonstrated skills in negotiating and closing critical contractsCertificates, Licenses, Registrations:NoneTravel:Up to 25%Work Environment:This job operates in a professional office environment.
