The
Lead AV Events Technician
assists and supports the Manager of the Audio-Visual Department. They will manage the audio-visual team, read banquet event orders, and coordinate with various departments to meet their needs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Address all guest complaints in a timely and professional manner
Ensure compliance with safety standards
Praise, discipline, and counsel staff as necessary to maintain positive morale
Seek council from management when needed
Maintain and clean all A/V equipment and supplies
Organize and assign work to others, maintain BEO Log accuracy, and advise others of changes
Bill clients accurately and verify pricing exceptions and modifications
Arrange shift scheduling if the manager is not available and confirm it
Attend staffing, catering, and any scheduled pre-conference meetings as needed
Qualifications:
Customer service experience
Attention to detail
Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, and reaching
Can safely lift and/or move up to
25 pounds
and frequently lift and/or move up to
50 pounds
