Residential Program Manager
Lifeworks is looking for a Residential Program Manager to supervise a home supporting adults with Intellectual Disabilities. Candidates must have managerial experience and experience working with this population.

Location: Canton, MA

Shift: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm

Salary: $73,855

Essential Duties

Responsible for assisting with all hands‑on direct care, including showering, toileting, shaving, brushing teeth, and meal‑time assistance.

Handles all aspects of staffing: scheduling, on‑call, training, supervision, and relationship management.

Case management: develops and implements all aspects of ISP, schedules medical appointments, program and clinical reviews.

Completes or delegates the completion of administrative tasks, including staff payroll, updating manuals, and approval/reconciliation of petty cash funds, house accounts, and representative payee accounts.

Conducts and supervises teaching of activities of daily living, including social skills, personal routines, and financial management.

Serves as liaison between the Agency and the individuals’ families, friends, and guardians.

Implements and oversees behavioral interventions.

Implements and oversees emergency procedures ensuring safety of individuals in the home and within the community.

Administers and oversees timely and accurate administration and documentation of medication.

Maintains a physically safe work environment and reports injuries/ incidents to HR in a timely manner.

Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Experience managing a group home.

Experience working with individuals with ID/DD.

Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university; related experience preferred.

Must be able to pass fingerprint background check, CORI, DPPC, and driving background checks.

Valid driver’s license required.

Valid MAP certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months of employment.
