Lighting & Vfx Artist

Fracture Labs are looking for a Lighting & VFX Artist to join their team and assist with the production of the open-world survival sandbox game, Decimated.
This is a freelance position with the flexibility to work when available and when work is available. The ideal candidate should possess proven experience in producing various effects such as smoke, fire, clouds, water, steam, and explosions, and have an eye for detail and a thorough understanding of techniques and technologies relating to physical simulation in computer graphics.
Additionally, the candidate should have expert knowledge of UE5, proficiency with Unreal Engine & Blueprints, a proven track record of VFX work using Niagara, UE Volumetric Cloud experience, basic animation skills, photorealistic lighting and texture experience for film production, familiarity with post-processing effects in Unreal Engine, remote work experience, and comfortable working with Jira and Perforce.
Requirements

Proven experience in producing a variety of effects such as smoke, fire, clouds, water, steam, and explosions
Eye for detail and thorough understanding of techniques and technologies relating to physical simulation in computer graphics
Expert knowledge of UE5
Proficiency with Unreal Engine & Blueprints
Experience with Unreal Engine's Niagara particle system
UE Volumetric Cloud experience
Photorealistic lighting experience
Familiarity with post-processing effects in Unreal Engine
Comfortable working with Jira and Perforce
