Penn's Grove Middle School is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to lead our Choral Ensemble team. The ideal candidate will foster a love for music and choral singing among students, guiding them in vocal techniques, music theory, and performance skills. This role involves working with a diverse group of students to create a positive and inclusive environment that encourages creativity and self-expression through music.

Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and conduct rehearsals for the Choral Ensemble, ensuring a structured and engaging learning environment.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that includes vocal techniques, music theory, and performance preparation.
- Select appropriate choral repertoire that aligns with the skill levels and interests of the students.
- Prepare students for performances, including school concerts, community events, and competitions.
- Collaborate with other music educators and staff to support the overall music program at Penn's Grove Middle School.
- Provide individual feedback and support to students to enhance their vocal skills and confidence.
- Maintain a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding schedules, performances, and progress.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in music education.

Requirements
- Experience in teaching choral music to middle school students preferred.
- Strong knowledge of vocal techniques, music theory, and choral repertoire.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students of varying skill levels.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to develop their musical talents.
- Proficiency in piano or guitar is a plus.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all students.
- Valid teaching certification or equivalent credentials in music education is preferred.
