This UX/UI Design Lead role is a high-impact opportunity for a design leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, user experience, and visual craft. You will lead end-to-end digital design engagements across complex client projects, shaping intuitive and accessible experiences from discovery through delivery. The role blends hands-on design leadership with systems thinking, requiring you to build scalable design systems and guide product direction across multiple platforms. You will collaborate closely with researchers, strategists, developers, and stakeholders to translate user insights into impactful solutions. A strong emphasis is placed on accessibility, healthcare-focused digital experiences, and compliance-driven design environments. In addition to delivering high-quality work, you will mentor designers and elevate team practices through critique, coaching, and process improvement. This role also encourages experimentation with emerging AI-powered design workflows to enhance creativity and efficiency.

Accountabilities:

Lead UX/UI design across complex client engagements, driving projects from discovery and strategy through execution, iteration, and optimization.
Own end-to-end delivery of digital experiences, including design systems, style guides, and scalable component libraries.
Define and guide design direction across websites, platforms, and digital journeys to ensure usability, accessibility, and consistency.
Translate research findings, usability insights, and business requirements into structured, user-centered design solutions.
Conduct and lead UX research activities such as interviews, usability testing, audits, and synthesis workshops.
Collaborate cross-functionally with strategists, developers, content teams, and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
Facilitate workshops, presentations, and client discussions, clearly articulating design rationale and decisions.
Mentor and support junior designers through feedback, coaching, and collaborative design critique.
Continuously improve design workflows, standards, and processes while integrating modern and AI-driven design approaches.
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in UX/UI, product, or digital experience design with a strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking and execution in complex environments.

Proven experience leading UX engagements and defining design direction across multi-platform digital products.
Strong expertise in research synthesis and translating insights into scalable, user-centered design systems.
Advanced proficiency in Figma, including design systems, prototyping, responsive design, and developer handoff workflows.
Deep understanding of accessibility standards, usability principles, and inclusive design practices.
Familiarity with compliance-driven environments, including accessibility and healthcare-related requirements.
Strong visual design fundamentals including typography, layout, hierarchy, spacing, and interaction design.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience mentoring and developing designers in collaborative, growth-oriented environments.
Adaptable, strategic mindset with curiosity for emerging technologies and AI-enabled design workflows.
