Introduction

Join our Financial Engineering team for a dynamic role in McLean, VA. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a large strategic financial project focused on UI/UX development for a software application platform. You'll be part of a team that produces enterprise-level reporting on financial statements and orchestrates financial models.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Multiple years of UI development experience with expertise in React 18, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS SASS, Redux, and building single page applications (SPAs).
Strong professional experience in JavaScript/TypeScript.
Proficiency in RESTful APIs and building single page applications.
Experience with automated testing tools such as Jest and React Testing Library is a plus.
Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, ideally in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
Prior experience with financial services companies desired but not necessary.
Experience with modern UI frameworks and component libraries, specifically Material UI (MUI) and AG Grid.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Develop highly responsive, user-facing features using React.js, Redux, and TypeScript/JavaScript.
Build reusable components and frontend libraries for future use.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to code reviews and UI standards.
