Associate Producer

Employee will assist in the preparation and production of CBS13 and Good Day Sacramento Newscasts. Duties include: Assisting producers with building rundowns and show formats. Writing for broadcast. Coordinating graphics and video elements. Supporting breaking news coverage with urgency and strong editorial judgment. Collaborating closely with anchors, reporters, photographers, and assignment desk staff Performing other duties as assigned Individual must be able to work flexible hours and overtime, including early mornings and weekends.
Basic qualifications: Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced setting Television production experience and/or a college degree in journalism, communications, or a related field preferred but not required.
