Freelance, Lee Men's Design (Greensboro, NC) Key Responsibilities: Designing tops styles - sketching, coming up with ideas, details, new silhouettes. Selecting new fabric for tops. Pulling pattern inspiration for plaids. Assorting the plaids/patterns into the shirt styles. Assorting color into styles. Sketching hand off pages/ detail call outs. Meeting with tech - walking them through the detail callouts. Lab dips color comments, h/l comments, wash panel comments - entering comments into charts. Power point files for Milestone meeting presentations (creating our line sheets)Pinning boards for comp review. Trim development - buttons, labels, embroideries, patches (adobe illustrator)Organizing samples & racks. Need to have an "eye for color", experience building collections, experience with prints and plaids.
