We're passionate about creating an inspiring and engaging shopping experience for our customers, bringing their home décor dreams to life with stunning, on-trend pieces.Role OverviewThe Channel Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing Maxwood's presence across key third-party marketplaces, including Walmart, Target Plus, Best Buy, Lowe's, Kohl's, Amazon, Wayfair, and Bed Bath & Beyond. This role plays a critical part in driving marketplace growth through effective product merchandising, platform management, performance analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about ecommerce. They thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy identifying opportunities to improve marketplace performance and customer experience.ResponsibilitiesMarketplace OperationsManage product listings, content, and promotional strategies across third-party marketplacesEnsure product detail pages are optimized for visibility, accuracy, and conversionMonitor catalog health and maintain high-quality marketplace content standardsPlatform Management & OptimizationWork within Mirakl and ChannelAdvisor platforms to onboard products, manage listings, troubleshoot issues, and maintain complianceUtilize marketplace seller portals to manage catalog performance and identify growth opportunitiesSupport ongoing optimization efforts across marketplace channels to improve performance and efficiencyCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Marketing, Supply Chain, Product, and Creative teams to ensure alignment on inventory, pricing, promotions, and brand standardsCollaborate with external marketplace account representatives to identify opportunities and resolve escalationsCoordinate marketplace initiatives and ensure timely execution across departmentsPerformance Monitoring & ReportingTrack sales trends, performance metrics, and marketplace KPIsIdentify areas of opportunity and risk across marketplace channelsDevelop regular reporting and provide actionable insights to support business decisions and channel growthCompliance & Account HealthEnsure adherence to marketplace policies, listing requirements, and customer service standardsProactively address compliance issues and account health concernsMaintain marketplace best practices and platform-specific requirementsWhat Success Looks LikeConsistent growth across key marketplace channelsOptimized product content and marketplace visibilityStrong catalog health and platform complianceData-driven recommendations that improve channel performanceEffective cross-functional collaboration and executionAccurate reporting and actionable business insightsRequirements3+ years of experience managing third-party marketplace accounts such as Walmart, Target Plus, Best Buy, Lowe's, Kohl's, Amazon, or WayfairHands‑on experience with Mirakl‑powered marketplaces strongly preferredExperience with product listing optimisation, digital merchandising, and marketplace growth strategiesFamiliarity with marketplace tools such as ChannelAdvisor, Salsify, Feedonomics, CommerceHub, or similar platformsStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsExcellent communication and project management abilitiesData‑driven mindset with the ability to analyse performance and identify opportunitiesAdvanced Excel skills and experience working with reporting or business intelligence toolsPreferred QualificationsExperience managing both first‑party (1P) and third‑party (3P) marketplace relationshipsBackground in retail, consumer goods, or ecommerceBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related fieldExperience with Shopify or other DTC ecommerce platformsCore CompetenciesDetail‑oriented and highly organisedSelf‑motivated and proactiveStrong analytical and problem‑solving skillsCollaborative and team‑orientedComfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environmentAdaptable and solution‑focusedProfessional and confident communicatorBenefits401(k) with company matchDental InsuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramFlexible ScheduleFlexible Spending AccountHealth InsuranceLife InsuranceVision InsurancePaid Time OffWork LocationDaniel Island, SC#J-18808-Ljbffr
