This position serves as the primary contact for accounts within a designated territory, providing strategic sales direction and communication. The role is essential for defending existing business and acquiring new opportunities, contributing to the overall growth strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering sales goals, ensuring profitable year-over-year growth in the assigned territory.
Leveraging industry knowledge to enhance business success and competitive advantage.
Increasing business with existing and new accounts through prospecting and networking.
Managing account complexities and communicating customer needs internally.
Supporting key business negotiations, demonstrating influence in decision-making.
Building and maintaining trust-based relationships with customers for proactive discussions.
Collaborating with internal teams to enhance sales initiatives and meet customer needs.
Engaging with external networks, focusing on industry influencers and collaborators.
Coordinating with Sales Management, R&D, Marketing, and Field Service for customer trials.
Managing accounts receivable with assistance from the credit department.
Working with Strategic Marketing to address unmet customer needs.
Collaborating cross-functionally on implementing defined strategies for market segments.
Reporting on sales and marketing contributions for monthly management review.
Driving forecast accuracy for improved business results.
Communicating competitive insights and intelligence to stakeholders.
Managing Account Planning, Pipeline management, profitability improvements, and churn in CRM.
Qualifications include:
Bachelor's Degree.
3 years of relevant experience in technical, sales, and general management, preferably in the packaging industry.
Experience in a large-scale business-to-business environment.
Proven track record of successful sales growth and profitability.
Experience with negotiations.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally 60% of the time.
