L4-Mixer Operator

The Mixer Operator is responsible for mixing micro ingredients into raw butter using different types of mixers. The mixer's duties include preparing the micro ingredients and cutting the butter into the appropriate size for a batch. The Mixer must be able to read process formulas and do some math as needed. The mixer will be required to perform other duties as assigned. In addition, this position will regularly clean and tidy the immediate work area and ensure trash is removed from the facility while maintaining a safe workspace.
Pay: $25.18/hour
Shift: Days
Troubleshoot line-stops to get them up ASAP
Communicate with kindness and professionalism
Ensure timely start-up after breaks & lunch
Oversight of Good Manufacturing Practices, and required PPE usage
Ensure all necessary forms are completed
Recognize issues in mixers during inspections and during operation
Responsible for upholding Food Defense Program
Participates in Kaizen, CI and 5-S activities, as required
Oversight of storage compliance (temperature controlled, chemical, etc)
Escalate safety & quality Incidents to Quality Assurance or Management
Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Demonstrated excellent teamwork
Ability to demonstrate a high degree of initiative.
Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with others at all levels in the organization.
