About the role: The Senior Global Product Manager will play a key role in advancing a global portfolio of externally sourced and co-developed products. This individual would work closely with global downstream and upstream marketing teams to drive portfolio prioritization that will be developed through external collaboration, based on knowledge of the market, competition and existing BSC portfolio knowledge. Working across a highly matrixed organization, this role partners closely with marketing, R&D, external partners, and project teams to identify market opportunities, shape product positioning and features to deliver impactful product launches. The position also requires strong collaboration with external partners to bring innovative solutions to market and expand the portfolio.
Work Mode: At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Your responsibilities will include: Drive prioritization and execution of externally sourced and co-developed product initiatives across global markets. Lead communication of all these product launches and updates with global, regions and franchise leadership Be a central point of connection with global and regional marketing leadership for the external portfolio. Provide regular updates to franchise leadership. Support the global upstream and downstream marketing teams to determine customer segmentation and product-positioning for effective messaging and positioning. Support global key opinion leader VOC/congress meetings globally to gain insights and formulate clear insights Assist in identifying new development opportunities through external innovation partners and contribute to formulating new product proposals and tactics to global market teams. Contribute to development and commercialization activities, supporting key decisions throughout the product lifecycle Ensure compliance with internal processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience At least 5 years of progressive professional experience, including 3 years of progressive upstream/innovation roles in the medical device industry Experience working with external partners for product development. Demonstrated excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed, multi-cultural environment Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%, including internationally. Flexibility to operate outside traditional working hours
Preferred Qualifications Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or a related field Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate insights into action Advanced degree (e.g., MBA or similar) Proven track record of contributing to successful product launches or portfolio growth Strategic thinker with a bias for action and innovation
