Job Summary
Assists the Program Director with implementing program policies and services to the program's clients. Responsible for maintaining program's records and reports. Answering phones in a professional manner and scheduling appointments. Assisting Program Director with general inquiries.

Essential Functions

Input data into HANAC data program and assist Program Director with DFTA STARS database input.

Interview clients for needs assessment (can be done by phone or in office).

Provide case assistance in acquiring and completing required forms and gathering verification information as needed.

Follow up client's cases on a regular basis to assure resolution of issues identified as well as identify possible new issues.

Attend required training, in-house or at other venues, to keep abreast of laws, regulations, services, and issues affecting defined clientele.

Maintain case service log for documenting time, issues, and resolutions.

Computer entry of program required statistics.

Attend staff meetings with the Program Director.

Follow established on-site safety and emergency procedures.

Create the monthly newsletter and email it to clients.

Have excellent communication skills, including oral and written, with ability to work with clients in crisis.

In absence of Program Director, assume supervisory duties.

Other tasks as may be required and needed.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree or higher and demonstrated experience working in social services.

Must be flexible, detail-oriented, responsible, reliable, professional, able to work as a team member, and contribute to a positive work environment.

Must be able to multi-task and take initiative.

Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish or English/Greek) highly preferred.
