Digital Marketing & Communications Coordinator – Onsite
Agency: Academic Development Branch, Education Delivery Division, Department of Education, United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM)

Location: 2510 5th St., Building 840, Area B, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH 45433-7913

Employment Details:

Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship Required.

Clearance: Tier 1 Background Investigation – National Agency Check with Law and Credit Check, and fingerprints.

Hourly rate: $28.00 per hour.

Work hours: 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday; up to 40 hours per week, may require overtime or weekend support.

Employment type: 40 hours per week.

Period of performance: 01 August 2026 – 31 July 2027 (option to extend).

Benefits: Health, dental, vision; paid time off up to 80 hours per year; sick leave up to 56 hours per year; 11 federally paid holidays.

Mandatory Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, journalism, public relations, or a related field.

Minimum three years of experience in digital marketing, advertising, communications, or educational marketing.

Experience collaborating with graphic designers, photographers, videographers, and cross‑functional teams.

Proficiency with digital signage platforms and Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign or Illustrator).

Knowledge of visual hierarchy, color theory, typography, and layout principles.

Highly Desired Qualifications:

Familiarity with Department of Defense branding and communication policies (e.g., Tongue and Quill).

Certifications such as HubSpot Content Marketing, Digital Marketing Institute, or Certified Digital Marketing Professional.

Duties / Responsibilities:

Assist in inventory, ordering, coding, and disposing of audiovisual and computer equipment.

Create, design, and edit digital signage.

Provide digital design consultation to members and programs.

Lead and collaborate with a team of mass communications professionals to achieve strategic communication goals.

Ensure all products meet brand book standards and other requirements.

Participate in supporting projects such as writing continuity documents, attending eLearning symposiums, defining capabilities for potential customers, and collaborating with local colleges.
