Program Coordinator

Our Lady of the Prairie Retreat – Wheatland, Iowa

Our Lady of the Prairie Retreat is seeking a collaborative and mission-driven part-time Program Coordinator to support the planning, promotion, and coordination of retreat and spiritual programming.

This position works closely with the Retreat Director, staff, facilitators, and community partners to create meaningful experiences rooted in hospitality, spirituality, and the Catholic tradition.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and promote retreat and sponsored programs

Assist with marketing, communication, and social media

Support long-range program planning and scheduling

Serve as a liaison between guests, facilitators, and retreat staff

Help uphold the mission and spiritual nature of the retreat center

Qualifications

Strong organizational and communication skills

Awareness of event coordination or nonprofit programming

Collaborative approach and welcoming spirit of hospitality

Understanding of Catholic values and spiritual traditions

Proficiency with computers, communication platforms, and social media

Flexibility to work occasional varied schedules
