UNDERSTANDING THE ROLE
The Marketing Manager supports the execution of the regional marketing plan through hands‑on coordination, content creation, and project management across key functions—conferences and events, partnerships, communications, publications, and digital marketing. Translates strategic plans into action, ensuring that all marketing activities are executed effectively, tracked accurately, and aligned with regional and firm-wide goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Operations & Execution

Oversee and direct execution of marketing activities and events, determining approach for logistics, collateral, and conference participation to align with strategic objectives

Own tracking and analysis of marketing activities, budgets, and ROI, providing insights and recommendations to inform decision‑making through HubSpot in partnership with the Marketing Lead

Oversee contact strategy and data integrity within HubSpot, informing campaign segmentation and optimizing email performance

Develop and guide pre‑ and post‑event communications strategy in partnership with Corporate Marketing

Conferences, Events, and Sponsorship

Lead planning and execution of conference and event strategy and logistics (booths, sponsorships, travel, materials, speaking submissions)

Develop and refine speaking proposals and presentation narratives, advising stakeholders on positioning and messaging, and managing deadlines

Cultivate and manage relationships with nonprofit associations and partners, identifying and advising on strategic opportunities

Oversee sponsorship strategy and execution, including prioritization, investment tracking, scheduling, and outcomes assessment

Support execution of CCS‑hosted events, ensuring alignment with regional marketing goals and audience engagement strategy

Communications & Content Support

Draft and distribute regional publications, email campaigns, and social media content

Collaborate in development of thought leadership materials, philanthropic landscapes, and market‑specific resources

Partner with Business Development to develop targeted messaging and outreach strategies that drive engagement

Support internal communication needs, including updates to the marketing resource library and team reports

Cross‑Team Collaboration

Partner with Business Development to shape event outreach and conference attendee engagement strategies

Contribute to Business Development‑led campaigns, ensuring alignment with broader marketing strategy with marketing materials and distribution

Collaborate with Corporate Marketing and Field Marketers to influence campaign alignment and regional adaptation with firm‑wide standards

Contribute to Sales Enablement strategy on an ad‑hoc basis

Tracking, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement

Manage all relevant trackers and shared files to ensure tracking of marketing activity, ensuring actionable visibility

Track and analyze engagement metrics for events, sponsorships, and outreach, translating findings into strategic recommendations to Marketing Lead

Proactively identify and implement process improvements, driving efficiency and innovation across marketing workflows

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field

2+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on event coordination, campaign execution, and/or marketing operations

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

Experience supporting conferences, events, sponsorships, and/or partnership marketing initiatives

Proficiency in marketing and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot or similar), including campaign tracking, reporting, and data management

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating marketing content across email, social, and publications

Analytical mindset with the ability to track performance metrics, interpret data, and provide actionable insights

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Collaborative, team‑oriented approach with the ability to work cross‑functionally with business development, marketing, and leadership teams

Self‑starter with the ability to take initiative and drive projects forward independently

SALARY RANGE
$70,000‑$90,000

The exact salary varies within range based on years of relevant experience and education.
