Program Manager

Location:

Onsite – Rosemead, CA

Responsibilities

Define and implement governance and controls across the program, including status reporting, risk and issue management, stakeholder engagement, and creation of required routines and artifacts

Apply advanced problem‑solving skills to drive project and program resolutions to completion

Leverage extensive knowledge of service delivery models to foster continuous improvement and adapt to evolving client needs

Monitor and manage program milestones, ensuring timely delivery and escalation of risks and issues when needed

Drive decision‑making processes, collaborating with leadership and technical leads on staffing and resource planning

Manage program‑level budgeting, forecasting, financials, procurement reporting, and visibility to ensure alignment with financial expectations

Define, communicate, and align roles and responsibilities within the team to staffing plans and project needs

Ensure high quality, end‑to‑end delivery of program outcomes and deliverables

Lead stakeholder engagement, maintaining strong client and executive communications, including the preparation and delivery of executive‑level reports

Ensure program activities are aligned with the statement of work, collaborating on scope changes as required

Track and assess customer satisfaction, program quality, and profitability throughout the project lifecycle

Supervise project managers assigned to the program, providing coaching, mentoring, and support to optimize productivity and delivery quality

Set long‑term goals for the program or portfolio of projects, acting as a key liaison between team members and upper management/executives

Oversee the onboarding and off‑boarding of program resources to ensure smooth transitions

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive experience in program or project management within a technology or related field

Minimum of 5 years of recent, hands‑on experience leading large‑scale programs, including active program management responsibilities

Experience managing technology programs with budgets of $25MM or more, and oversight of distributed, matrixed teams of 50+ resources

Proven experience developing, estimating, and aligning client statements of work, with a robust understanding of contract processes and modification

Track record of successful budgeting, forecasting, and financial management for complex, high‑value program

Strong understanding of supply chain processes and how they impact program delivery

Advanced communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities; comfort presenting to executive and client audiences

Extensive experience with program and project governance, executive reporting, stakeholder engagement, and risk mitigation

Experience working directly with financial sector clients or on financial industry program

Hands‑on experience with Salesforce CRM or similar tools for program reporting and tracking

Demonstrated ability to work independently, proactively driving projects to completion while leading and mentoring a team

Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills, including coaching and mentoring project managers and other team members

Ability to lead negotiation on contract scope, cost, and schedule, ensuring outcomes align with organizational goals

Education and experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Arts/Sciences) required

Minimum of 10 years experience in a relevant discipline

5 years active Program Management experience and 10 years Project Management experience

Experience with financial sector customers

1‑3 years of sales/business development experience preferred

Demonstrated Salesforce CRM proficiency

Experience in managing, tracking, and forecasting the financials and budgets for large‑scale program

Proven knowledge of contract management and ability to negotiate scope, cost, and schedule

Strong written, verbal, and public speaking skills

PMP certification through PMI preferred
