Community Supports Manager – In-Home Supports Program

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Community Supports Manager to lead our In-Home Supports Program, which serves individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD). This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated leader who is passionate about improving lives, developing staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered services.
The ideal candidate will have management experience within the I/DD field, strong leadership skills, and the ability to effectively oversee Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), coordinate services, and collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the in-home 1:1 support program.
Supervise, mentor, and support a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
Ensure individualized goals and support plans are implemented effectively.
Coordinate and monitor staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
Conduct new hire orientation and provide ongoing staff training and development.
Collaborate with internal and external clinical care teams regarding participant needs.
Build and maintain positive relationships with individuals, families, guardians, and support coordinators.
Conduct intake meetings and participate in ISP and other required meetings.
Evaluate staff performance and ensure quality service delivery.
Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and program standards.
Partner with Human Resources, Compliance, Administrative teams, and Department Directors.
Stay current on best practices and emerging trends within the I/DD field.
Qualifications
Experience working in a managerial or supervisory role supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.
Experience with staff supervision, training, and performance management.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Understanding of person-centered care and individualized support planning.
Experience or training in crisis intervention and behavior management preferred.
High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
