Role Description

This is a part time, project based hybrid role based in Encinitas, CA for an Assistant Video Editor. The Assistant Editor will support the post-production team by organizing and managing video assets, preparing project timelines, editing video content, and ensuring seamless workflows. Responsibilities include assisting with post-production edits, maintaining asset libraries, collaborating closely with the editing and creative teams, and ensuring all projects meet quality standards and deadlines.
Qualifications

Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro
Strong organizational and asset management skills
Collaborative skills to work with creative teams and a passion for storytelling
Attention to detail and ability to ensure consistent quality in video deliverables
Basic understanding of color grading, sound design, and motion graphics is a plus
Prior experience in content creation or film production, especially in endurance, wellness, or outdoor industries, preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in an on-site team environment
Bachelor’s degree in Film, Video Production, or a related field is preferred
