Commercial Business Development

Paul Davis provides professional residential and commercial emergency restoration services for disasters of all sizes. From water and flood damage, to fire damage and mold remediation, Paul Davis franchise professionals are available 24/7 to clean up and repair damage to residential and commercial property. Founded in 1966, Paul Davis is a rapidly growing network of more than 370 independently owned and operated franchises in the United States and Canada. Paul Davis will grow to become over a $2 Billion business in the next 5 years.

Compensation is a strong base salary commensurate with experience plus commission, bonus opportunities, medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) with company match, PTO, sick days and paid holidays, cell phone and computer provided by company.
This position reports to the owner and covers the territory of Memphis, TN and the surrounding area.
The summary includes increasing awareness of the Paul Davis brand, promoting the services of Paul Davis, and building industry relationships.
Responsibilities include building strong relationships with current and potential clients, organizing and scheduling a calendar of consistent business-to-business visits, managing marketing programs, ensuring staff uses the Paul Davis brand correctly, utilizing marketing technology software, collaborating with the franchisor, managing social media accounts, attending business networking functions, coordinating and managing community and charitable events, scheduling, managing, and presenting continuing education courses, researching local trade shows, attending training courses and annual conference seminars, and any other duties and responsibilities may be assigned on a needed basis.
Skills and knowledge required include strong verbal and written communications, strategic thinking and planning, project management and multitasking capability, strong organizational skills, and exemplary computer skills.
Personal characteristics include professional demeanor, personable, presentable, articulate, open, cooperative, enthusiastic, and self-directed with exceptional initiative.
Qualifications include a marketing, public relations or communications degree, two or more years' sales and marketing experience, and franchise, restoration, construction/home improvement, and/or insurance industry experience ideal.
