This is professional public relations, communications, training, and stakeholder engagement work involving the development and dissemination of information related to agency programs, services, and initiatives. The incumbent develops communication materials, supports training and outreach strategies, assists with website and digital content, prepares presentations and reports, coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, and translates complex program or policy information into clear, accessible materials for targeted audiences.
Examples of work include supporting the development and execution of communication strategies for maternal health initiatives; preparing written guidance, reports, presentations, newsletters, toolkits, flyers, website content, social media content, and other outreach materials; translating policy, regulatory, and program information into clear communication products; assisting with provider training materials, onboarding resources, and technical assistance documents; coordinating engagement with healthcare providers, managed care organizations, community-based organizations, accountable entities, and other stakeholders; supporting stakeholder meetings, workgroups, listening sessions, and training workshops; collaborating with analytics teams to convert data into narratives, infographics, dashboards, and briefing materials; assisting with reports, state plan amendment materials, federal deliverables, and quality improvement communications; and performing related duties as assigned.
