Brief Role Summary
The Production Supervisor leads daily production operations while developing a high-performing team focused on safety, quality, delivery, and continuous improvement.

This role goes beyond supervising production - it requires a leader who can anticipate challenges, improve processes, and build engaged teams that consistently deliver results. The supervisor partners closely with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to meet customer expectations and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Lead & Develop People

Supervise and coach a team of 20+ production associates

Establish clear expectations and accountability for safety, quality, and productivity

Provide consistent feedback, recognition, and performance coaching

Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new employees

Foster a positive, respectful, and performance-driven team culture

Drive Operational Execution

Execute daily production plans to meet customer and operational targets

Plan and organize work priorities, staffing, and workflow

Monitor performance metrics and address gaps proactively

Collaborate with Plant Manager and Plant Coordinator to anticipate operational needs

Ensure Safety & Compliance

Maintain a safe working environment aligned with OSHA and internal safety standards

Enforce company policies fairly and consistently

Submit timely incident documentation and corrective actions

Promote a safety-first culture across the production floor

Improve Processes

Investigate operational deviations using root-cause analysis

Implement corrective and preventative actions

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing efforts

Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and team effectiveness

Administrative Leadership

Review and approve timekeeping, overtime, and payroll adjustments

Maintain accurate documentation related to team member performance and operations

Communicate effectively across shifts and departments
