Defined Digital Marketing is looking for a full-time Social Media Manager to join our growing team and lead social media strategy for local businesses throughout the Nashville area.
This is not a role where you'll spend all day sitting behind a computer creating graphics.
You'll be out in the field capturing content, planning social strategies, filming Reels, meeting with clients, and helping businesses build a social media presence that actually drives results.
If you're creative, organized, comfortable on camera (and behind it), and love turning everyday moments into engaging content, we'd love to meet you.

Bi-monthly on-site content shoots
20 curated social media posts per month
15 Story posts per month
Content planning and strategy sessions

As the Social Media Manager, you'll help bring these strategies to life for multiple clients.
What You'll Do Develop bi-monthly content strategies for clients
Plan content around promotions, seasonal opportunities, and trends
Ensure client profiles remain optimized and current
Stay ahead of social media trends and platform updates
Content Creation Conduct bi-monthly content shoots at client locations
Film content for Instagram Reels, Facebook, and Stories
Direct business owners and team members during shoots
Client Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
Lead onboarding and strategy meetings
Build strong relationships that create long-term client success
Analytics & Performance Monitor content performance and engagement metrics
Identify opportunities to improve reach and visibility
Help determine which content should receive paid boosts
Use data to guide future content strategy
We're Looking For Someone Who: Loves social media and digital marketing
Is passionate about content creation and storytelling
Feels comfortable filming content on an iPhone
Understands Instagram Reels, Stories, and current trends
Can confidently communicate with clients and business owners
Is highly organized and able to manage multiple clients at once
Is proactive, creative, and self-motivated
Enjoys both strategy and execution
Qualifications 1+ year of experience in social media management, content creation, marketing, or a related field
Strong understanding of Instagram and Facebook best practices
Experience with Canva, CapCut & Edits App
Basic video filming and editing knowledge
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Reliable transportation for local client visits and content shoots
