Territory Account Manager (TAM)
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven professional for the Oral Treatment sales team with a focus on HIV treatment.
Responsibilities
Deliver results through exceptional sales and service.
Identify, target, and win new business by influencing HCPs to adopt new HIV treatment approaches.
Engage with HCPs, nurses, staff, and administrators to understand clinical, organizational, and financial challenges.
Leverage data analytics, business acumen, and market expertise to identify high-priority prospects.
Prepare and execute customized business plans for each customer to help HCPs scale treatment models.
Coordinate, engage, and partner with cross‑functional team members (e.g., Clinical Nurse Educators and Field Reimbursement Managers) to provide an integrated product experience.
Maintain a portfolio‑based selling mindset and close internal communication loops to ensure cohesive, integrated customer experience.
Provide exceptional customer service by proactively anticipating and addressing HCP needs and requests.
Deliver and adapt execution plans to achieve performance goals using KPIs and other metrics.
Develop and foster external relationships with key influencers and thought leaders.
Act in ways consistent with ViiV’s culture, expectations, and values.
Embrace ambiguity in a launch environment and transform setbacks into learning opportunities.
Escalate issues and risks when needed and speak up for compliance.
Understand and follow key compliance and regulatory guidelines.
Basic Qualifications
BA/BS degree.
5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
3+ years in specialty sales.
Ability to travel domestically, including overnight travel.
Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Business, Marketing, or Life Sciences.
Strong planning, organization, analytical, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.
Experience influencing and collaborating cross‑functionally in a matrixed environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Sales success in complex market‑access coverage situations.
Experience managing cold‑chain treatment products with HCPs.
Knowledge of the HIV treatment and/or prevention markets.
Spanish bilingual preferred.
Experience partnering across an integrated account team with multiple field‑based members.
Salary and Benefits
The US annual base salary ranges from $145,500 to $242,500, with additional annual bonus and share‑based long‑term incentive eligibility. Benefits include health, dental, vision, retirement, paid holidays, vacation, paid caregiver/parental leave, and medical leave.
