Sr. Proposal and Marketing Coordinator (NORESCO)

Role Overview

NORESCO, a part of Carrier Global Corporation, is seeking a full‑time Proposal Team Member for its Sustainability Services Team. The role collaborates closely with Account Executives and technical directors to lead and manage the full lifecycle of high‑impact proposals (RFQs/RFPs), develop strategic content, coordinate inputs, drive schedules, and prepare polished, competitive submissions that reflect NORESCO’s story with authenticity and integrity. The position is remote, available anywhere in the US.
Key Responsibilities

Own and lead multiple RFQ/RFP submissions simultaneously, including scheduling, driving deadlines, coordinating contributor inputs, editing content, and overseeing final production and delivery.
Facilitate and lead proposal kickoff meetings, ensuring clarity on roles, strategy, deliverables, and schedules.
Balance competing deadlines while supporting the execution of external communications plans and other marketing initiatives.
Develop win strategies, themes, and differentiators in close collaboration with pursuit teams.
Design polished, visually consistent proposal layouts; preferred experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g., InDesign) and a strong visual design sense.
Coordinate and integrate technical content from subject‑matter experts, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with pursuit strategy.
Track proposal progress, communicate status to pursuit teams and leadership, and elevate risks to deadlines or quality when necessary.
Produce high‑quality print and electronic documents and perform initial written and graphic QA/QC before manager/director review.
Coordinate and support interview preparation, including slide development, messaging alignment, and coaching of presenters.
Conduct debriefs after submissions to identify wins, gaps, lessons learned, and continuous improvement opportunities.
Identify, support, and implement process improvements, templates, and tools to enhance proposal efficiency and quality.
Enforce standardization of workflows and best practices across the marketing/proposal function.
Serve as a resource for proposal best practices across teams.
Required Qualifications

5+ years’ experience in proposal management within the AEC industry and/or professional services firm.
Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign.
Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
Understanding of or interest in the energy engineering/sustainability industry.
Strategic thinking and ability to align proposals with client goals and win themes.
Experience leading proposal schedules, outlines, and review cycles.
Strong time‑management skills and ability to hold team members accountable.
Problem‑solving skills under tight deadlines.
Familiarity with pursuit strategy, positioning, and competitive differentiation.
Marketing/proposal preparation experience within a professional services firm.
Exceptional written communication and editing skills.
Ability to work with diverse personalities within a flexible schedule to meet internal deadlines.
Ability to produce high‑quality collateral and support material consistently.
Strong attention to detail with quality control and compliance oversight.
Talent for translating highly technical information into clear, concise written communications.
Proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce is a plus.

Pay Range

The annual salary for this position is between $64,500.00 and $129,500.00, depending on skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
