Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager promotes our core values by leading the day-to-day operations of the marketing department and serving as the in-office anchor for our marketing team at the Kelso Corporate Office. Working directly with the Marketing Director, the Marketing Manager owns campaign execution, vendor relationships, performance reporting, and the development of marketing specialists across all 14 Bud Clary store locations.
Essential duties include managing the day-to-day operations of the marketing department across all 14 Bud Clary store locations, directly supervising the Content & Creative Specialist and Marketing Coordinator, owning vendor relationships and quarterly business reviews with third-party platforms including CarGurus, Cars.com, AutoTrader, and our digital media agencies, coordinating dealer-level marketing programs across all OEM brand partners, planning, scheduling, and supervising execution of all monthly marketing campaigns across paid digital, organic social, email, and traditional channels, reviewing creative output and brand consistency across all 14 store websites, social profiles, and Google Business Profiles, managing the marketing department's intake system and ensuring all internal requests from stores are triaged, assigned, and completed within service-level expectations, compiling weekly and monthly performance dashboards using Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, and vendor-provided reporting tools, coordinating with Sales Managers, BDC leadership, and store General Managers to align marketing activity with sales objectives, owning marketing-side integration of any newly acquired dealerships, including website migrations, vendor consolidation, branding, and OEM compliance, participating in EOS Level 10 meetings and contributing to quarterly Rocks and annual planning sessions using ninety.io, providing hiring input, performance reviews, and career development conversations for direct reports, managing the marketing department budget under direction of the Director, including co-op program reconciliation and vendor billing oversight, and reporting to the Marketing Director on team output, campaign performance, and operational improvements.
Education and experience preferred include a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field, three (3) or more years of progressive marketing experience; five (5) or more years preferred, including at least two (2) years managing direct reports, and multi-location B2C marketing experience strongly preferred — particularly in high-velocity, lead-driven categories such as automotive retail, powersports, RV/marine, restaurant/QSR, hospitality, or home services.
Qualifications to perform this job successfully include demonstrated experience managing a team of marketing professionals, strong working knowledge of digital marketing channels including SEO, paid search, paid social, email marketing, and reputation management, proficiency with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams), working knowledge of dealer website platforms such as Dealer.com, Dealer Inspire, or DealerOn, familiarity with CRM and CDP platforms, experience managing OEM co-op programs and vendor relationships, strong project management instincts; comfortable with ticketing and project management tools (Asana, Monday, ClickUp, Front, HelpScout, or similar), clear and concise written and verbal communication, highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders simultaneously, ability to work legally in the United States, and must be 18 years of age or older.

This role is based in-office at our Kelso, WA Corporate Office. Office areas are heated and air conditioned. The work environment is primarily indoors. Occasional travel to Bud Clary store locations across Washington State is required.
