Summary
The Public Relations Manager, The Americas will develop and execute comprehensive PR and editorial strategies to maximize brand visibility across North and South America. Reporting to the VP, Communications, this role manages sample trafficking, press outreach, event project management and coordination with retail and regional partners. The manager will cultivate senior relationships with editors, stylists and influencers to drive national, regional and digital coverage.
Responsibilities
Partner with the VP, Communications to develop and implement PR strategies for products, campaigns and events
Pitch product and feature stories to national, regional and digital outlets
Oversee and manage all sample trafficking and coordinate send outs with editors, stylists and influencers
Place seasonal and special project sample orders and track the PR budget
Maintain press, VIP and market databases and manage editorial clippings and social tracking
Schedule press appointments for seasonal presentations (including Milan) and act as project manager for PR events and regional press days
Collaborate with retail teams on launches and initiatives and support Latin American partners and licensees as needed
Requirements
Bachelor's degree
5 years of public relations and editorial experience
Established industry and editorial relationships
Experience in the retail or luxury market
Strong written and verbal communications and presentation skills
