Assistant JH/HS Band Director

Carlisle ISD is now accepting applications for the assistant junior high/high school band director position. Primary duties include assisting the high school marching/concert band, team teaching the 7th grade band, teaching three 6th grade beginner classes, as well as a 5th grade music class that meets twice a week. Candidates with strong brass pedagogy experience is ideal, however all applicants will be considered. Carlisle ISD has been a consistent award winning band program being the class 1A/2A TMEA Honor Band six times, and winning the UIL State Military Marching Contest five times. The district is looking for the next person to join the team in continuing the growth and excellence of the program!
