Job Summary
The

Stage Manager

coordinates and executes all on‑stage and loading‑dock operations from pre‑show preparations to day‑of‑show execution for concerts and events. This role serves as the central point of communication between the Venue Production Manager, touring teams, clients, and rental vendors, ensuring technical and logistical execution aligns. The Stage Manager oversees all stage activity to ensure smooth load‑ins/outs, efficient communication, and on‑time performances.

Responsibilities

Communicate event details to the venue production crew and all relevant in‑house departments.

Manage members of the venue production team and stagehands.

Ensure the tour(s) and client(s) have the required items from the venue to execute shows and events.

Supervise the load‑in and load‑out of band and rental equipment.

Document accidents, incidents, and disciplinary issues for the production crew and report actions to the Production Manager.

Execute settlements per contract with artists post‑show as directed by the Production Manager.

Enforce all in‑house policies regarding staging, safety, and show protocol.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of tour and stage production experience.

Experience with stage lighting, professional audio systems, and basic video systems.

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience managing a team of 5+ individuals.

Ability to make clear, concise decisions, sometimes with limited information.

Computer literate in Windows applications.

Superior interpersonal communication and organizational skills.

Preferred

College degree.

Physical Demands

Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Work in an environment with moderate to loud noise levels.
