Art Director

We are currently seeking an Art Director for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in South San Francisco, CA.
Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description

Pay: $57 – 63/hr (W2)
3-month assignment to start, potential for extensions based on performance and business need
Hybrid schedule:

3 days (T, W, TH) required onsite, 2 days (M, F) remote
You will be leading the visual design and creative execution of high-impact campaigns across digital, print, and internal communications channels
Translate concepts into sophisticated, visually compelling creative deliverables with a strong attention to detail and craft
Develop original design concepts and create fresh visual iterations from existing campaign assets
Collaborate closely with a design-focused creative team in a fast-paced studio environment with multiple concurrent projects
Ensure all creative work aligns with compliance requirements and regulatory design standards
Portfolio showcasing high-end design and art direction work is required
Qualifications

Strong professional background in graphic design, visual design, or art direction
Highly refined aesthetic sensibility with a sophisticated design portfolio
Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
Strong understanding of visual storytelling, campaign development, and creative execution across channels
Experience working in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated industries preferred
Experience art directing AI generated creative deliverables or working with AI-assisted creative workflows is a strong plus
