Nevada Licensed Government Affairs Lead

To support a dynamic Government & Industry Affairs team, the remote Nevada Licensed Government Affairs Lead will manage external lobbyists, develop state-specific advocacy messaging, and cultivate relationships with key government officials across multiple states.
Key responsibilities

Serve as the primary accountability manager for external lobbyists, setting performance expectations and conducting regular assessments
Translate corporate policy positions into tailored advocacy messaging based on local political dynamics
Develop and maintain relationships with state legislators and regulatory agencies, while monitoring relevant legislation affecting social gaming and consumer protection

Required qualifications

7-12+ years of experience in state government, lobbying, or legislative affairs
Demonstrated experience managing external vendors or consultants against defined deliverables
Working knowledge of gaming regulation, sweepstakes law, or consumer protection policies
Established relationships with key government officials within the assigned regional portfolio
Experience in multi-state lobbying roles within fast-moving industries such as technology or gaming
