Description
This role is responsible for using their broad technical understanding, leadership skills, and product development knowledge to provide leadership through various phases of product life cycle. The System Requirements Analyst translates voice of customer and stakeholder needs into system and product requirements, identifies potential hazards and assesses requirements to ensure that the product meets the user/business needs, facilitates development of design specifications for new hardware and software products. It is expected that a System Requirements Analyst will regularly serve on project core teams.
Responsibilities
Working knowledge of product development lifecycle
Leads system/product-level risk assessments
Translates voice of customer and stakeholder needs into system and product requirements
Facilitates cross-functional knowledge and experiences to promote the understanding and resolution of in-market and product development issues
Identifies potential hazards and associated control measures
Collaborate with technical experts to create specifications that support product requirements
Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
3 years related work experience desired
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Experience working with multi-discipline engineering teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Software).
Medical device development experience.
Experience with Systems Engineering and/or requirements management.
Excellent communication skills: interdepartmental (with engineers), and cross-functional (with Marketing, Clinical Representatives, Software Engineers, Test Engineers, and Quality Engineers)
Must have very strong writing skills.
Attention to detail paramount.
