Summary:
You'll partner directly with Cloud Solution Architects (CSAs), CSAMs, and Microsoft Product Groups to translate complex AI and cloud technical concepts into polished, reusable assets - playbooks, guides, runbooks, SOPs, and customer-facing enablement materials - that drive consistent delivery quality across a growing customer base.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain customer-facing documentation supporting Microsoft AI solution adoption journeys across the full technical stack
Build a repeatable, modular library of content assets (playbooks, runbooks, technical guides, SOPs) that CSAs and field teams can deploy at scale
Partner with engineers, architects, and CSAs to extract institutional knowledge and codify it into structured, reusable IP
Support technical strategy alignment documentation across Microsoft Success Programs
Lead documentation governance, versioning, and knowledge management practices across the delivery team
Contribute to onboarding and knowledge transfer frameworks for new delivery resources
Ensure all content meets Microsoft quality standards and is aligned to audience - executive, technical, or end-user
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of technical writing experience in enterprise software, cloud technology, or platform services
Demonstrated ability to write for multiple audiences simultaneously: executive stakeholders, solution architects, and end users
Deep proficiency with Microsoft 365 authoring tools - Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneNote
Proven experience documenting AI, cloud, or platform technologies with accuracy and clarity
Strong information architecture skills: ability to design and manage large documentation ecosystems for scalability and reuse
Experience producing playbooks, runbooks, customer-facing guides, and internal SOPs in delivery-oriented environments
Comfortable working directly with technical SMEs to extract, structure, and communicate complex information
Adherence to formal documentation standards (Microsoft Writing Style Guide or equivalent)
Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience within Microsoft Success Programs, CSAM/CSA delivery models, or Microsoft partner ecosystems
Familiarity with Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, or the Microsoft Copilot Stack
Docs-as-code experience: Markdown authoring, GitHub or Azure DevOps repositories
Background in field sales enablement content or technical pre-sales collateral
Exposure to IP development programs, content governance frameworks, or knowledge management initiatives
Certification in technical communication (STC, API documentation, or equivalent)

Pay Transparency:
The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is:
$35.00 - $37.00 /hour.
As a non-exempt position, this role will be eligible for overtime, at 1.5 times the base rate, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
