Job Description

Provide hands‑on testing and validation support for advanced autonomous robotic systems. Work closely with engineering teams to execute reliability tests, document findings, troubleshoot failures, and support root cause investigations. This role will be responsible for evaluating system and component performance through structured testing activities while maintaining accurate records and ensuring repeatable test processes.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with electromechanical systems, laboratory equipment, and test environments, along with a passion for identifying weaknesses and improving overall product reliability.
Job Functions

Execute system‑level and component‑level reliability tests on robotic and electromechanical systems.
Document test procedures, observations, failures, and results to support engineering analysis and corrective actions.
Operate environmental chambers, vibration tables, and mechanical load testing equipment.
Perform soldering, crimping, cable assembly, wiring, and cable management activities.
Work with sensors, actuators, electronics, mechanical assemblies, and integrated hardware systems.
Support root cause investigations by collecting, organizing, and communicating test data.
Maintain test equipment, tools, and laboratory workspaces to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve test methods, product performance, and reliability standards.
Support testing activities at external laboratories and field locations as required.
Maintain detailed records to ensure repeatability, traceability, and compliance with testing procedures.
Skills/Abilities

Strong troubleshooting and hands‑on technical skills.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and technical documentation.
Experience using laboratory instruments, DAQ systems, sensors, and test equipment.
Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Onshape, or similar platforms.
Experience working in Linux environments.
Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple testing activities while maintaining attention to detail.
Comfortable working in a hands‑on laboratory and warehouse environment.
Experience

5+ years of hands‑on experience in robotics, automotive, electrical, mechanical, computer systems, or related technical industries.
Experience with environmental, vibration, and mechanical testing equipment.
Experience with soldering, wiring, crimping, and hardware integration activities.
Prior experience supporting product validation, reliability testing, or engineering test programs preferred.
