Job Summary
We are seeking a Digital Content Specialist who can blend creativity and analytics to develop engaging content across digital channels, including blog posts, social media, search, images, and videos, to enhance customer engagement and promote the Methodist Healthcare brand.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing or related field.

Experience:

Minimum 2+ years in content writing and development or similar agency role.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Adobe Creative products and Canva (90% usage), knowledge of social platforms, SEO strategies, CMS, HTML, and online reputation management.

Ability to complete initial and ongoing training as defined by the service line, facility, and department/unit.

Essential Job Functions

Create, proofread, and publish engaging content and maintain the style and voice of all content.

Analyze and optimize content performance across all digital platforms.

Optimize content for SEO.

Manage social media posting, reviews, and overall reputation management processes.

Understand legal and regulatory environment and operate within a highly controlled setting.

Use content management systems to analyze website traffic and user engagement metrics.

Manage content distribution to online channels to increase web traffic.

Build a social media following through rich content.

Determine stories for publication lineup to align with marketing targets.

Collaborate with marketing and design teams for site content, style, and layout.

Additional Job Functions

Support the mission and vision of Methodist Healthcare System.

Learn and comply with system and facility safety policies and rules.

Adhere to the MHS Code of Conduct and demonstrate ethical behavior.

Complete other duties as assigned.
