WHAT YOULL DO
The Production Planning Supervisor oversees the development, preparation, and maintenance of production schedules. In this role, you will provide results-driven leadership in planning responsibilities with a focus on best practices, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
Define and implement Planning and Scheduling KPIs and dashboards, leveraging metrics and other tools, to drive departmental performance
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of production plans to support customer demand and meet On Time Delivery goals.
Oversee the sequencing of jobs, processes and assignments to individual work centers while providing interface, in partnership with shop floor leadership, between shop floor and leadership.
Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule.
Define and implement the weekly Production Meeting by value stream.
Participate in the Sales and Operations review to align supply with demand.
Implement capacity planning by value stream, identify bottlenecks and schedule around planned downtime.
Establish and maintain all key planning fields in ERP (lead times, safety stock, days supply etc.).
Establish and run What-If scenarios for production plan impacts.
Implement Forecast and ensure production plan aligns with forecast accuracy.
Interact with production and sales personnel to update and advise of progress and new developments.
Continuous Improvement Responsibilities
Deliver and foster continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility.
Collaborate with the Global Operational Excellence team in the development and implementation of global initiatives.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes, implement cost-effective initiatives, and develop best practices for planning, scheduling, and material control.
Establish, update and implement policies, procedures and related work instructions.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Train, mentor, evaluate, and direct the daily activities of planners (team of 5) to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
Lead by example and motivate team to create a dynamic, empowering, and collaborative working environment.
WHAT YOULL BRING
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or a related field preferred. In lieu of a degree, 5+ years experience in production planning considered.
5+ years manufacturing environment production planning experience.
Team supervision experience.
Metric driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 requirements.
Strong MS Excel abilities. Strong ERP and technology skills overall.
Strong leadership and communication skills.

End-to-end Supply Chain experience in manufacturing environment.
Experience within related industries of manufactured, engineered-to-order, components.
Syteline ERP experience.
Power BI experience.
Lean Manufacturing knowledge/experience.
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Bonus Eligible. This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
