About the Role
Coffee & Chill is seeking a creative, collaborative, and community-driven Co-Founder and Producer to lead production of events at Coffee & Chill Venice in collaboration with the market’s existing City Lead and with support from the Coffee & Chill Founders. This is an opportunity to take ownership of production at a fast-growing startup focused on local community events.

You will play a pivotal role in expanding our community in Los Angeles. In this position, you will be responsible for continuing to develop the community in LA, strategic marketing surrounding the expansion, building relationships with key stakeholders (such as venues and event vendors), maintaining community engagement, and executing event logistics and production. With guidance from the Coffee & Chill Founders, detailed playbooks and training, and continued collaboration and support, you will be equipped with all of the necessary tools to continue building Coffee & Chill Venice into a growing and thriving community.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, a strong communicator, organized, and can adapt quickly. Most importantly, we are seeking a candidate who is passionate about our mission and already embodies the social wellness lifestyle.

Responsibilities
Build relationships with key stakeholders (such as venues, event vendors, and staff), develop and maintain community engagement, and execute event logistics and production
Work in collaboration with Community Co-Founder to own the full lifecycle of all Los Angeles events, including but not limited to scheduling events, venue selection, pre-production logistics, budget management and reconciliation, vendor booking and communication, staffing, marketing, guest communications, day of logistics, onsite execution, post-event wrap-up, etc.
Procure local event sponsors and brand partners
Communicate and collaborate with internal teams, including coordinating to implement deliverables from national partnerships
Maintain high production quality of events while continuously innovating ways to improve and further develop the experience. Minimum of 2 events/month hosted on weekends (preferably Sundays) on a biweekly basis year round (18 events per year) with at least 300 guests per event
Develop and implement unique, city-specific activations outside of regular scheduled programming to enhance community engagement and local relevance
Oversee content creation and social media coordinator to ensure an active social media presence (minimum requirement of 4 feed posts per week), stay up to date on trends, and drive audience interaction and growth
Represent the Coffee & Chill brand and values; actively create a positive and welcoming community for guests, staff, and partners throughout the event experiences

Who You Are
Someone with a deep understanding of building community and a desire to host in-person events on a frequent basis
A clear and professional communicator, both written and verbal
Excited about startups, wellness, community, and experiential brands
Entrepreneurial, proactive, and collaborative
Organized and attentive to detail (logistically and aesthetically)
Calm under pressure, quick-thinker, and creative problem-solver

Preferred Qualifications xsgimln
Minimum of 2-4 years experience leading events and experiential activations
Previous experience in sales, business development, or negotiating sponsorship deals
Project management skills including budget creation, management and reconciliation
Customer service and relationship management skills, including managing guest experience for onsite events, training and leading part-time staff, and managing vendor and partner relationships
Ideally has existing relationships with event venues and vendors in the Los Angeles area

Requirements
Must be based in Los Angeles
A valid driver’s license is required for this role
Ability to carry up to 20 pounds
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events
