Founded in Venice, CA and expanding rapidly across major cities, Coffee & Chill's aim is to create valuable and memorable experiences for attendees and brands alike.About the RoleCoffee & Chill is seeking a creative, collaborative, and community-driven Co-Founder and Producer to lead production of events at Coffee & Chill Venice in collaboration with the market's existing City Lead and with support from the Coffee & Chill Founders. This is an opportunity to take ownership of production at a fast-growing startup focused on local community events.You will play a pivotal role in expanding our community in Los Angeles. In this position, you will be responsible for continuing to develop the community in LA, strategic marketing surrounding the expansion, building relationships with key stakeholders (such as venues and event vendors), maintaining community engagement, and executing event logistics and production. With guidance from the Coffee & Chill Founders, detailed playbooks and training, and continued collaboration and support, you will be equipped with all of the necessary tools to continue building Coffee & Chill Venice into a growing and thriving community.We are looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, a strong communicator, organized, and can adapt quickly. Most importantly, we are seeking a candidate who is passionate about our mission and already embodies the social wellness lifestyle.ResponsibilitiesBuild relationships with key stakeholders (such as venues, event vendors, and staff), develop and maintain community engagement, and execute event logistics and productionWork in collaboration with Community Co-Founder to own the full lifecycle of all Los Angeles events, including but not limited to scheduling events, venue selection, pre-production logistics, budget management and reconciliation, vendor booking and communication, staffing, marketing, guest communications, day of logistics, onsite execution, post-event wrap-up, etc.Procure local event sponsors and brand partnersCommunicate and collaborate with internal teams, including coordinating to implement deliverables from national partnershipsMaintain high production quality of events while continuously innovating ways to improve and further develop the experience. Minimum of 2 events/month hosted on weekends (preferably Sundays) on a biweekly basis year round (18 events per year) with at least 300 guests per eventDevelop and implement unique, city-specific activations outside of regular scheduled programming to enhance community engagement and local relevanceOversee content creation and social media coordinator to ensure an active social media presence (minimum requirement of 4 feed posts per week), stay up to date on trends, and drive audience interaction and growthRepresent the Coffee & Chill brand and values; actively create a positive and welcoming community for guests, staff, and partners throughout the event experiencesWho You AreSomeone with a deep understanding of building community and a desire to host in-person events on a frequent basisA clear and professional communicator, both written and verbalExcited about startups, wellness, community, and experiential brandsEntrepreneurial, proactive, and collaborativeOrganized and attentive to detail (logistically and aesthetically)Calm under pressure, quick-thinker, and creative problem-solverPreferred QualificationsMinimum of 2-4 years experience leading events and experiential activationsPrevious experience in sales, business development, or negotiating sponsorship dealsProject management skills including budget creation, management and reconciliationCustomer service and relationship management skills, including managing guest experience for onsite events, training and leading part-time staff, and managing vendor and partner relationshipsIdeally has existing relationships with event venues and vendors in the Los Angeles areaRequirementsMust be based in Los AngelesA valid driver's license is required for this roleAbility to carry up to 20 poundsFlexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for eventsPerks & BenefitsCompensation Package including commission for ticket and sponsorship revenue, performance-based bonus, merchandise profit, and sponsorship referralsFlexible working hours, minimal meetingsAbility to control your own working schedule and time off Community Leader networking and team building activations Networking opportunities with the largest brands in the wellness spaceBecome a leader in the wellness space in your city
