About the Role
Geotrek is building its marketing team from the ground up, and we need someone who makes the whole machine run. This is an essential role on our marketing team. You are the person who keeps the calendar tight, makes sure emails go out on time, tracks the project list, and ensures that every workstream across a fast-moving team stays on schedule.
If you’re the person your team has always turned to to organize the chaos, build the tracker, and actually follow through — this is your role. You’ll work directly with Hanna (Director of Marketing) and across every marketing contractor and in-house team member we have.
What You’ll Own
Email Marketing Execution
Build, schedule, and deploy email campaigns in HubSpot — newsletters, nurture flows, promotional sends
QA every email before it goes out: links, UTMs, mobile rendering, list segmentation
Maintain list health: suppression logic, unsubscribes, engagement-based segmentation
Pull performance reports post-send and flag key metrics to Hanna
Project Management
Own the marketing project board in Monday.com — keep it current, accurate, and useful
Track deliverables across 10+ contractors and in-house team members; follow up proactively on blockers
Run weekly marketing team check-ins — prep the agenda, take notes, distribute action items
Flag capacity issues, timeline risks, and dependency conflicts before they become problems
Marketing Calendar
Maintain the master marketing calendar in Google Sheets — the single source of truth for all campaigns, launches, events, and content
Coordinate campaign timing across paid, organic, email, and events so channels stay aligned
Keep the calendar synced with trade show and expo schedule (15 shows annually)
Surface conflicts and sequencing issues to Hanna proactively
What We’re Looking For
2-4 years of experience in a marketing, coordinator, or project management ro
Experience with email platforms — HubSpot preferred; Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar also considered
You live in spreadsheets. You make trackers for fun. Your Google Sheets game is strong.
Familiarity with project management tools — Monday.com, Asana, Notion, or similar
Strong written communication — you can write a crisp email and a tight action item list without being told twice
Detail-oriented in a way that actually matters: you catch the broken link, the wrong date, the unsuppressed list before it ships
Calm under pressure and able to manage competing priorities without dropping the ball
Bonus Points
Experience supporting a small, fast-moving marketing team in a DTC or e-commerce brand
Familiarity with UTM tagging, basic analytics, and how to read a Looker Studio dashboard
HubSpot certified or working toward it
Passion for the outdoor or adventure space — you get what we’re building
What You’ll Get
A foundational role in building something — you’ll have visibility across every part of the marketing operation
Direct mentorship from Hanna and exposure to brand, performance, and content strategy at a growth-stage company
Room to grow as the team scales — this is a long-term seat, not a temp role
Competitive salary, health benefits, and a team that actually uses its PTO
This is a full-time, on-site position in Boulder, CO.
