Sartell Middle School 7th and 8th Grade Fall Musical - Costume Designer

Job Description:
Works with a group of students to:
Know the show and all characters (as well as each character's costume needs)
Measure all cast members for costumes
Research historical period of the production to ensure that costumes are time period appropriate
Find, make, buy all pieces
Oversee costime fittings and alterations
Collarborate with lighting designer, set designer, and set painter to achieve a cohesive color scheme
Organize costumes, dressing rooms, stage left, stage right, and all quick changes
Teach kids how to wear and use their costumes
Make sure everyone has the correct shoes for their costumes
Wash and store all costumes at strike

Based on Extra-Curricular, Co-Curricular and Other Activity Assignments Schedule
