PGS Worldwide is seeking a Program Scheduler in Marietta, GA for a one year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This role supports complex program execution by developing and managing integrated master schedules, coordinating across teams, and ensuring projects stay aligned with cost, schedule, and delivery objectives.

Required Skills

Experience with Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling
Strong experience with Deltek Open Plan (primary tool)
Experience with Microsoft Project and Milestones Professional
Experience creating and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
Experience building schedules from Statement of Work (SOW) through completion (cradle-to-grave)
Experience with schedule control processes, audits, and project integration
Experience providing risk and opportunity analysis input
Strong communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams
Preferred Skills

Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
Experience supporting proposal schedule development and Basis of Estimate (BOE) inputs
Experience working across engineering, procurement, contracts, and production teams
Experience supporting R&D, production, or capture efforts
What You'll Do

Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for complex programs
Build schedules from SOW, including logic, sequencing, and dependencies
Apply Critical Path methodology to analyze schedule performance and risk
Support proposal development and program planning activities
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, contracts, production)
Provide schedule status updates, metrics, and reporting to program leadership
Identify risks, impacts, and recommend corrective actions
Support audits and ensure compliance with scheduling standards and processes
