District Sales Manager – Buick/GMC (Memphis, TN)
Field-based position requiring up to 75% travel to dealerships within the assigned territory. The selected candidate must reside within the territory or be willing to relocate to Memphis, TN or an approved surrounding area within 60 days of the start date. Preference will be given to local candidates.
Responsibilities
Act as liaison between GM, its dealerships, and additional GM partners.
Grow and foster partnership relationships.
Facilitate mentorship and consulting to ensure monthly/yearly sales objectives are achieved.
Track dealership Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) or other customer feedback resources to identify deficiencies or opportunities.
Assist in product launches to ensure streamlined marketing and advertising among dealer, independent aftermarket (IAM) and GM.
Monitor dealership personnel training and ensure compliance with GM requirements/objectives.
Assist with dealership inventory management, including vehicle and parts ordering and inventory stabilization.
Analyze dealer sales, local market, and competition to identify revenue opportunities.
Increase sales of GM vehicles and accessory parts to customers.
Assist in customer problem resolution.
Travel to your dealers in your designated region.

Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of experience in the automotive industry (in lieu of a degree).
4+ years in sales and customer service.
Must travel 100% and be mobile; able to relocate anywhere within the United States.
Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis and successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Report review.
Job classified as remote but candidate must live in an approved city within the territory or be willing to relocate; relocation costs are the candidate’s responsibility.
Travel at least 50% or more on a frequent basis.
Not eligible for relocation benefits.
