Talent Sourcer
Overview: We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Talent Sourcer to support our recruiting team by identifying, engaging, and building pipelines of qualified candidates. This role plays a critical part in driving talent acquisition efforts by leveraging creative sourcing strategies, market research, and relationship‑building skills.

Identify and source qualified candidates using a variety of channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, social media, networking, and internal databases.

Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.

Partner closely with recruiters to understand role requirements and candidate profiles.

Conduct initial outreach to candidates and assess interest, availability, and basic qualifications.

Maintain accurate candidate records and activity tracking in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract diverse talent.

Perform market research and talent mapping to support workforce planning.

Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the sourcing and engagement process.

Experience

5–10+ years of relevant talent acquisition experience (preferably in the nuclear, DOE, and/or engineering industries).

Strong technical skills in PC operating systems; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), data entry, and database management.

Proficient in ATS and operations software.

Nuclear Safety Engineer
Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Nuclear Safety Engineer opportunity to join our nationwide team.

Key responsibilities include:

Supports operations and project activities as matrixed technical support staff providing the Nuclear Safety Manager with Safety Basis expertise and counsel.

Preparation and maintenance of the facility Safety Basis documents, including Facility Hazard Categorization, Documented Safety Analyses (DSA), and Technical Safety Requirements (TSRs).

Performance of hazard and accident analysis in support of Safety Basis development, updates, and amendments.

Performance of research, calculations, and testing as needed to validate safety analysis assumptions or controls.

Ensure technical compliance with 10 CFR 830 Subparts A and B as applicable to nuclear facility Safety Basis processes.

Application of the Unreviewed Safety Question (USQ) process to present and future nuclear facilities in accordance with facility Safety Basis procedures.

Develop appropriate documentation, when necessary, to address a Potential Inadequacy of the Safety Analysis (PISA), Evaluation of the Safety of the Situation (ESS), and Justification for Continued Operations (JCO).

Evaluating proposed nuclear facility alterations against Major Modification criteria and preparing associated documentation.

Engage with DOE site office representatives to ensure compliance, maintain a flow of communication, and facilitate collaborative reviews and approvals for Safety Basis documentation.

Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to staff Safety Basis analysts and USQ evaluators.

Interface with other external stakeholders (e.g., Defense Nuclear Facilities Review Board) relative to safety analysis activities and issues.

Assist in identification and/or development of Safety Basis implementation/compliance training in support of activities.

Act as interpretative authority on technical matters related to Safety Basis program functions, including applicable contract requirements.

Provide recommendations to the Nuclear Safety Manager regarding USQ issues and significant Safety Basis issues.

Responsible for preparation of Safety Basis documents and integrate Safety Basis and design for projects and major modifications, including development of safety design strategies, conceptual safety design reports, preliminary documented safety analysis, and backfit analysis.

Ensure Safety Basis related documents and analysis are compliant with appropriate DOE command media and are technically accurate and defensible.

Review drafts of work packages, procedures, facility modifications, and other documents for integration of the Safety Basis into facility activities.

Provide technical support for emergency preparedness hazards screening and analysis; and transportation documented safety analysis as requested.

Perform assessments of the Safety Basis and USQ Programs and their implementation and participate in critiques/investigations involving SA related issues, as requested.

Develop and report on Safety Basis performance indicators.

Support the execution of Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) guiding principles and core functions and the Company Safety Culture.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 5 years experience in nuclear facility safety.

Proficiency in Hazards and Accident Analysis techniques and approaches.

Must be able to qualify as an Unreviewed Safety Question Determination Preparer, Reviewer, and Approver.

DOE project experience desired.

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Strong communication, verbal and written skills.

Must be able to describe and interpret the essential principles, requirements, relationships and importance of DOE Orders and Standards, as applicable.

Must be able to coordinate complex technical and regulatory issues and documents with multiple disciplines and stakeholders.

Proposal Specialist
Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Proposal Specialist position in Aiken, SC.

Key responsibilities:

Develop, write, and manage proposals in response to RFPs, RFIs, and other solicitation documents.

Partner closely with sales, technical teams, and leadership to craft persuasive, accurate, and timely submissions that align with organizational goals.

Lead end‑to‑end proposal development, including kickoff, scheduling, content planning, and submission.

Review solicitation documents to identify requirements, evaluation criteria, risks, and compliance needs.

Write, edit, and format proposal sections such as executive summaries, technical narratives, past performance, and pricing justifications.

Coordinate with SMEs to gather accurate technical and operational information.

Preconstruction Project Manager
Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Preconstruction Project Manager position in Aiken, SC.

Key responsibilities:

Drive the frontend pursuit process for new construction opportunities.

Manage prebid activities, develop technical proposal content, coordinate with estimators and engineers, and ensure submissions are accurate, compelling, and compliant.

Lead creation of technical and narrative proposal sections, including execution plans, schedules, safety approaches, and project methodologies.

Manage RFQ/RFP reviews, lead bid strategy meetings, and coordinate with estimating, engineering, and operations teams.

Develop project‑specific technical information, including logistics plans, constructability reviews, and design narratives.

Participate in prebid meetings, site walks, and client interviews, and support relationship building with owners and design partners.

Required Qualifications

Strong understanding of construction means and methods, design processes, and project delivery models.

Excellent technical writing, communication, and presentation skills.

Proficiency with proposal and construction tools (InDesign, Bluebeam, Procore, P6, MS Project).

Familiarity with complex industrial or large commercial project types.

Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and RFP requirements.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple pursuits simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
