About the Project

SYNOPSIS: In this haunted and poignant new drama, a Marine returns home to Western Massachusetts after going missing in Afghanistan five years prior. His wife and her new partner must confront the reality of a Lazarus-like return of a man assumed dead, as the Marine awakens a bond with his aphasic teenage son. An unexpected visit from his old comrade in the war further accelerates a reckoning with ghosts of war crimes, regrets, and the edges of life and death in this poetic, sensitive and deeply searching play.
