The role partners with marketers and account teams to deliver projects on schedule from brief to launch at the agency's Sacramento headquarters on a hybrid schedule.

Role
Strive Marketing is hiring a Web Design & Developer to join their Sacramento-based digital marketing agency. The role focuses on building and launching websites, landing pages, and campaign assets in collaboration with digital marketers, account managers, and the existing web design team. Training on company systems and workflows will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Build and launch websites, landing pages, and campaign assets using WordPress (Elementor), Vibe Code, Claude Design/Code, and other platforms

Use Claude Code and Vibe Code to accelerate development, generate/refine code, and prototype rapidly

Manage version control with GitHub and configure DNS, domain routing, and basic performance settings in Cloudflare

Create graphics, icons, logos, banners, and other creative content for digital marketing campaigns

Initiate and manage new website projects, coordinate with strategy and content teams, and maintain project timelines

Participate in client meetings, take detailed notes, and delegate tasks via ClickUp

Provide weekly updates for assigned clients and coordinate with external agencies or vendors as needed

Follow agency protocols and operational standards

Requirements

Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Creative, analytical, and detail-oriented with effective problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Proven experience as a web designer and/or graphic designer (preferred)

Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and web-optimized layout design

Knowledge of web design principles and ability to create web-optimized designs

Preferred Experience

2+ years of web design and/or graphic design experience (agency experience strongly preferred)

Portfolio of live websites designed and built

Proficient with WordPress (theme/plugin management), Elementor, and Shopify integrations

Hands‑on experience with Vibe Code or similar AI‑assisted
o‑code web builders

Experience using Claude Code and/or Claude Design (Claude.ai)

Working knowledge of GitHub and Cloudflare (DNS and basic performance configuration)

Familiarity with GoHighLevel (GHL) CRM

Experience with Google Analytics and/or Search Console

Location & Schedule

Hybrid role based at Strive Marketing headquarters in the Greater Sacramento, California area

In-office attendance required Tuesday through Thursday; Monday and Friday remote

Applicants must reside in the Greater Sacramento area and be able to commute to the office

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
